Hi! Welcome to Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Manager (ACCSM). First of all thank you very much for purchasing (or considering) ACCSM, your support is greatly appreciated.
If you encounter any issues that aren't covered in this Wiki, please don't hesistate to ask questions in one of the following places:
Okay, let's begin setting up the server!
Extract the zip file you downloaded (you probably already did this, as you're reading this guide!).
Make a new folder somewhere you would like to store your server. Some sensible places include:
Or somewhere else, it doesn't matter too much! We'll refer to this as your 'install folder' from now on.
Take the acc-server-manager.exe
and config.yml
files from the windows
folder (that you just extracted) and move them into the install folder you created in step 2.
Copy your OSM.License
file (available via the "key" button next to the "download" button on your emperorservers.com Control Panel) next to the acc-server-manager.exe
in the install folder.
Open the config.yml
file to edit it. You can open it in Notepad, or for a slightly nicer experience something like NotePad++ or Visual Studio Code.
There are lots of options in config.yml
, they all have descriptions of what they do. Most are set to sensible defaults - so you don't need to change them all! However, there are a few important ones, so make sure to read through the file.
Save config.yml
Download the server via Steam or steamcmd, then copy the server files into the install_path
defined in config.yml
. You can learn more about installing the server via steam here.
Start the manager by double clicking acc-server-manager.exe
.
Once launched you'll be asked to log in, the default login details are as follows:
Once logged in you'll be prompted to change the admin account password, please do this and set it to a unique and safe password.
Go to the Server Options page and read through the options carefully. Pay specific attention to the port values of: Available UDP Ports and Available TCP Ports. These will all need to be made accessible on the web by a technique called "Port Forwarding".
You can now try running an event! We recommend starting with a "Quick Event" to quickly test that the server is working okay.
If you can't join your quick event, or the server does not start properly, check the Server Logs page for red errors or orange warnings, they may indicate what the issue is (and if you ask for support using the links above we will almost definitely ask for a copy of the logs).
